With more than 40 years’ experience of providing calibration solutions for the process industry, Beamex introduces the bMobile 2 mobile application.
Many process industry sites are still using pen and paper to document their calibrations and inspections, making it inefficient and prone to errors. With Beamex bMobile 2 and Beamex CMX calibration management software, you can make your calibration and inspection processes fully paperless.
Beamex bMobile 2 is a mobile, paperless solution for paperless documentation of the calibration of process instruments and weighing instruments, as well as maintenance-related inspections.
Use the Beamex CMX calibration management software to plan and schedule all your calibration and inspection activities. When it is time to perform the tasks, you can send the work orders wirelessly from CMX to the mobile device and go out into the field. While in the field, the Beamex bMobile 2 application guides you through all the activities. The results are stored in the mobile device, so when you return to the office, you can upload the results wirelessly into the CMX software. The results are automatically stored in the CMX database, and reports may be printed and scheduling is updated.
For the calibration of weighing instruments, bMobile 2 includes all the different test needed for weighing instrument calibration, such as eccentricity tests, repeatability tests, weighing tests and minimum capability weighing tests.
For the maintenance-related inspections, typical applications include hazardous area inspections, safety system inspections, building rounds, preventive maintenance checks, HVAC inspections, interlock checks and so on.
When the Beamex bMobile 2 is used in conjunction with the Beamex CMX software, you have a fully paperless system that ensures the integrity of data and minimizes the risks of ALCOA violations.
The Beamex bMobile 2 includes a few demonstration instruments, so you can evaluate it even without the Beamex CMX software.
